Miller’s Field 1

The NFL season and the College Football season is right around the corner and so is the Olympics. Do you need a nice new place to watch your favorite game? Well, the Orlando area has a new Sports Bar in town. I am talking about Miller’s Field.
Miller’s field is owned or co-owned by Craig Miller. You might recognize that name. Craig Miller is the former CEO of the popular successful Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse chain. After leaving his position at Ruth’s Chris , Craig Miller was also a political candidate for the 6th Congressional district. Craig has been working with his son Jeffery on the Miller’s Field restaurant location at the Dellagio Town Center off of Sand Lake Road or commonly known to locals Restaurant Row. Miller’s Field is where the old City Fire restaurant was. The other location or first location of Miller’s Field is in San Diego, CA.
I recently made a trip over to Miller’s Field. The place is about 8500 square feet and has over 50 HD TVs spread out around the restaurant. It is a classic sports bar and restaurant and it’s geared toward the sports enthusiasts. They have a great selection of beers and have a full bar.
My guest and I started with the Fire Cracker Shrimp $9. Our server articulated this starter was like the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer from Bonefish Grill. The shrimp was lightly breaded, flash fried, coated with a sweet tangy lightly spicy sauce, and served over lettuce. Bang Bang is still #1.
We also tried the Smoked Wings (10) $8.5. The menu states they are lightly smoked and finished crispy. The wings are served with Ranch or Blue Cheese dressing. We elected to have them prepared Buffalo style with Blue Cheese dressing on the side.
The server also recommended their Burgers. Miller’s Field Burgers $9 are prepared medium well unless otherwise specified. The burgers come with their sweet and salty chips. I elected to try their natural cut fries $3.5. The burgers are served with a homemade soft bun, lettuce, tomato, Thousand Island dressing, choice of cheese with a fresh or grilled onion. You can add a fried egg for 1.5.
Miller’s Field House is a great place to watch a game and grab a beer and hang out with your friends.
Extra Mentions- Plenty of parking available (outside or garage parking no charge-valet close by as well) service was good; server was very attentive and friendly. Indoor outdoor Bar is available. TVs were all in great strategic locations. Opens at 4pm during the week, closes at 2am, serves lunch on the weekends and closes at the final buzzer.
Miller’s Field is located at:
7958 Via Dellagio Way
Orlando, Fl 32819

  1. First time there today for NFL football, our waitress was good, food was descent, however they don’t know how to run the tvs on a Sunday! Not our first rodeo, Many other restaurants have it under control ( ale house, gators, buffalo wild wings, etc.) they just don’t know what’s going on. I asked the manager at around 4:30 what’s up with the 4 pm games and was told ” they are on a timer I have no control, I know it’s stupid” to which I said ok and went to the bathroom and back to my table. Another 20 minutes later when the 28 tvs were still all on the same three games while we watched our game on an I phone, what’s up? Was treated like crap asked what’s my name so they can get me business cards?? Cool right! Walked away went back to my table hung out for awhile asked as he went by his name. KJ a partial owner, guess asking his name was “crossing the line” because the next time I went to the restroom he approached my table and said he was sending our checks. Will NEVER be back and if you like football I’d suggest the ale house down the street. They have much better control over their programming. Sorry KJ you being a manager means you have to work the tvs and not be a dick to customers. Complicated I KNOW!
